The Toro 22280 is the heavy duty option in the Recycler range. This commercial standard lawn mower is fitted with a Kawasaki FJ180V KAI engine. It has all you would expect from a commercial grade mower with a productive 3.8 L fuel tank, heavy-duty air filter and spin-on oil filter. The Toro 22280 is self-propelled, rear wheel drive with 3 speed transmission for quick and effortless mowing.
The deck is made from durable rustproof aluminium and has an engine guard fitted to the front for confidence in rugged areas. The 53cm cutting width makes it perfect for medium to large lawns and the traction assist feature gives extra grip in more rugged areas. It offers a cutting height range of 25 to an impressive 114mm, which can be easily adjusted by a dual-action single mechanism.
The Toro 22280 has the standard Recycler 2 in 1 mulching or collection features. The patented design of the blade and cutting chamber means the grass cuttings are finely chopped. The cuttings are then ejected onto the lawn where they can decompose quickly, help with fertilisation of the soil and maintain moisture. For collection, the bag has a spacious 77 litre capacity and has improved suction for more effective collection of clippings.
