Garden Machinery Sales Specialist

Mowerpower Ltd is a family owned and run business since 1948 that are currently the areas largest Garden Machinery dealer. Specialising in the Sale, Hire, Parts and Service of many of the leading Garden/Groundcare Machinery manufacturers from our base between Preston & Garstang on the A6.
We are looking for a showroom-based sales person, specialising in outdoor power equipment.
Roles & Responsibilities would include:
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day sales of powered products and garden machinery equipment
Maintain up to date product knowledge on all our key brands
Process customer and supplier orders and payments
Delivery and installation of larger machinery & robotic mowers
Conduct demonstration of new and used machinery ensuring customers fully understand the products and their benefits to their needs.
Excellent people skills and enjoy working with the public
Updating all databases and customer information accurately.
Maintain the power product stock and showroom appearance.
Enjoy working in a busy atmosphere and can cope under pressure during busy periods
General computer skills
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Smart and presentable appearance
Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, handling cash or card payments
Work closely with other salesmen within the company, parts department and service department to provide a seamless, market leading experience for the customer.
Help parts department (when and if required)
Good communication skills: face to face, Telephone, or email.
To be considered for this role candidates will require:
The candidate should have an interest in Garden & Groundcare equipment with experience in retail and/or sales.
A knowledge of our products would be an advantage.
The candidate must be hard working and driven, as well as focussed on customer experience and satisfaction.
Valid UK Driver’s licence
Hours 44.5 hours per week basic 8am-5pm Monday to Friday, 7pm Thursday
Full in-house training given.
